What to Expect

Our class located in the west side of ubud, the place surrounded by green area and atmosphere of a countryside. To start the experience we will take you to traditional market to buy spices and other ingredients based on the menu, then we will take you to visit one of the local house to see and learn more about Balinese culture, life style and how the placed the building at the house.

Then we will take you to our farm to start the class, we will take you to explore the farm and harvest the spices that we will use during the class. after that our balinese chef will show you how to make authentic balinese food with fresh ingredients that we picked at the market and farm.

During the class, you will learn about the techniques that used in balinese way of cooking, such as chopping and pounding spices with Lesung (mortar and pestle), then the chef will explain you more about how to cook, how many ingredients that will use and what else do it need to cook based on the menu option. We have variety of menu such vegetarian and vegan or regular which is you could choose during the class.
